The project started as a hands-on community service effort by Semiahmoo students. The goal is practical: reduce waste and help families reuse good items close to home.
Total Free Community is a local pilot for South Surrey and White Rock families who want a simple, safe way to give useful items away for free.
Total Free Community focuses on physical items only. Books, toys, school supplies, clothes, kitchen goods, furniture, electronics, sports gear, garden items, and other household goods can be offered when they are genuinely free and useful to someone nearby.
The first version is intentionally invite-only and local. That keeps the pilot focused on real neighbors around Semiahmoo, South Surrey, and White Rock instead of turning it into a broad marketplace.

Posts cannot ask for payment, trades, tips, donations, or service exchanges. If an item is listed on Total Free Community, it should be free.
Public posts show approximate pickup areas. Exact pickup details stay private until the giver accepts a request and both sides can coordinate safely.
